Hi friends! I wanted to chat about coffee for a second on the blog. I feel like most adults are coffee-obsessed these days and unfortunately so am I. I am trying to not drink coffee on my days off and replace it with water, but man that is hard. So I wanted to talk about the different kinds of coffee I tried to make or buy! If you have any suggestions on coffee recipes let me know!
Coffee I Buy
I know some people who think that if you like Starbucks then you don't really like coffee....well I am here to say that I don't care. I like what I like and coffee seems to be in those things haha. Here are my Starbucks orders..
White Chocolate Mocha with no whip cream (hot)
White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino with whip
Vanilla Latte
Pumpkin Spice Latte (just tried it and so yum)
Coffee I Make
When I went to Costa Rica for a mission trip I fell in love with the coffee there. It is so fresh and I didn't need to add any flavoring or sugar. We toured a coffee plantation called Three Generations and I bought a couple bags to make at home. Since then I have significantly lowered my standards and drink Folgers every morning at work. Recently I have wanted to try and make some frappuccino's at home due to our no eating/drinking out in August. Here are the recent Frappuccino's I have tried to make..
White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino
Trenton found this recipe on Pinterest and honestly it wasn't my favorite. We tweaked it a couple of times and I enjoyed it by the 3rd time haha. It's fun to try out different recipes you can make at home and definitely saves you a few bucks. I didn't like the white chocolate mocha sauce very much so I might try a different recipe.

Here is the link for the white chocolate mocha recipe I got from Pinterest.
Ingredients
4 ounces of white chocolate
12 ounces of milk
8 ounces of brewed coffee
whipped cream on top
1 cup of iced cubes
2. Frozen Coffee
After the white chocolate mocha incident I had to redeem myself. So I tried THIS recipe from pinterest and I loved it. It was not too sweet and you can tweak it easily for the right flavor! This would be a good recipe to add a different flavor like pumpkin spice or peppermint and it would still taste good.

Here is the link for the frozen coffee recipe I got from Pinterest.
Ingredients
1 cup chilled brewed coffee
2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons of your favorite creamer
1 cup of iced cubes
whip cream for the top
I used Starbucks medium roast iced coffee (at Target), almond milk for my creamer, and Hershey's syrup.
